Known as the Place God Provides

Our food pantry is open to share groceries to up to 80 families every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm.

We are an emergency food assistance ministry (clients are allowed two visits per year). Volunteer interviewers minister on a one-on-one basis to every person that receives assistance.

Volunteer opportunities include interviewing clients and evangelism, sorting food items, packing food boxes, picking up food from Golden Harvest (requires a pickup truck), or donating needed items.
If you're interested in volunteering please fill out our online form or contact the office at (706) 722-5999.

Aside from volunteering, we also need assistance in stocking the food pantry. Below is a list of some of the items needed for Abraham's Place:

  • Canned Meats (tuna, beef stew, sardines, chicken & dumplings)
  • Condiments (jelly, peanut butter, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc)
  • Breakfast items (cereals, grits, oatmeal, granola bars, etc)
  • Starches (mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, dry beans, etc)
  • Hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant)
